Privacy Policy

NorthForge Partners respects the privacy of visitors and clients. This policy explains what information we collect through northforgepartners.ca, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information you give us. Through the project inquiry form we collect your name, company, email, phone, project name, market, asset type, unit count, project stage, the services you are interested in, and any message you write. Through the newsletter form we collect your email address only.

Information collected automatically. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. It records aggregate page views, referral sources, approximate country-level location, and device type. It does not track individuals across sites or build visitor profiles.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural advertising on this site.

Inquiry information is used to respond to your inquiry, assess whether your project is a fit for our services, and communicate with you about a potential engagement.

Newsletter email addresses are used only to send the monthly newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.

Submitting the project inquiry form is your consent to be contacted about that inquiry. Under Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) this is implied consent, and it expires six months after the inquiry.

Subscribing to the newsletter requires express consent, given by ticking the consent box on the form. We record the date, time, and source of that consent.

Inquiry contacts are never added to the newsletter list without separate express consent.

We use three service providers to operate this site:

• Supabase — database hosting. Records are stored in the Canadian region (ca-central-1).
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery.
• Plausible Analytics — aggregate website analytics, EU-hosted, no personal data.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We share information with them only as needed to operate the site.

Database records are stored in Canada. Our email delivery and analytics providers may process data outside Canada, which means that information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Inquiry records are retained for up to three years from last contact, then deleted. Newsletter subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record of the unsubscribe so we can continue to honour it.

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over encrypted connections. Database access is restricted to authorized personnel, and there is no public read access to inquiry or subscriber records. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of information that is inaccurate, withdraw your consent, and request deletion.

Send requests to hello@northforgepartners.ca. We respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue a discussion about your project.

Every newsletter includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes are processed immediately. You may also email hello@northforgepartners.ca to be removed.

This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be noted here.
